Your First Visit

Consultation and Health History

A complete health history will be taken listing any old or recent injuries or chronic health problems along with any present symptoms which may be factors in the diagnosing of your complaint. During the consultation, Dr. Kamerman will meet with you to discuss your problem and determine whether or not to continue with further examination. (You can print and fill out the Health Questionnaire ahead of time if you wish).

Spinal Examination

Spinal Examination

Detailed examination of the spine is critical in all cases. Movement, spinal stiffness, old injuries, spinal stress and a host of other factors can be keys to any health problem. The examination at Chiropractic Care Clinic is the second step in determining if we may be able to help and if further tests are indicated.

X-Ray Examination

Low dose, high resolution x-ray facility – if clinically indicated by the spinal exam, then detailed specialized x-rays of the spine will be included. Specific spinal x-rays can show the areas of spinal misalignment and stress which is at the root of most cases.

Correlation of Findings

This requires study of all findings to this point. It is not a simple matter; we have two doctors working on each individual case. It is our policy to accept only those cases we feel reasonably sure we can help. During this process, we evaluate all the results and make a determination of whether or not we can accept your case.

Report to patient

Doctor’s Report to Patient

After the results of the correlation of findings, Dr. Kamerman or Dr. Ward will meet with you, on your next visit, to explain your treatment options if treatment in our office is recommended. A referral to the proper specialist is made if it is determined that chiropractic cannot help you.
